Background:
As a graduate of Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1979) and a Masters in Social Work from Carlton University (1988), Betty-Anne has spent many years as a teacher, instructor, counsellor and trainer. As an author to several books and publications in the area of human studies and addictions, Ms. Howard has dedicated her career to working with people - improving their personal well-being.
Today, as a Financial Planner, Betty-Anne brings a unique blend of education, resources and expertise to clients - assisting them with reaching their financial goals and dedicated to helping with their financial health and well-being.
Betty-Anne focused her energies on Financial Planning in 1997. In the summer of 2001 she was awarded her CFP from the Financial Planners Standards Council and her CLU in 2005. She is also on the executive of the local chapter of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.
Involved in the Community:
Betty-Anne has been a dynamic member of the Kingston community working on several womens' issues; from breast cancer education and mental health to sexual assault and addiction issues. Her work on several committees and task forces as well as a well-known guest speaker on social and emotional health issues has touched several organizations in Kingston and area.
