Janet S. Pringle,

Educational Background:
After graduating from the University of Ottawa in 1995 with a degree in Political Science, Janet completed the Account
Executive Training School offered by Money Concepts Upper Canada. Janet passed the Canadian Investment Funds course
in February 1996, obtained her Certified Planner requirements in May of 1997 and obtained her Level II Life Insurance
License in December 1997. In September 1998, Janet obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from
the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning. Janet has successfully achieved the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
designation. This training has provided her more expertise in the retirement and estate planning areas. In February
1999, Janet became a practitioner member of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners. Janet is very committed
to her on-going studies in the financial planning field.
Career:
Janet has been providing Financial Planning Services since 1996. During this time, she has gained very insightful
experience in her financial planning practice. She enjoys working with her clients and says,"everyone's a
little different; some want to get there as quickly as possible, while others are looking for a steady approach.
The end result, however, is very similar; peace of mind and a secure knowledge about one's financial plan."
Personal Background:
Janet was born and raised on the outskirts of Napanee. Her parents Basil and Sylvia Young continue to reside in the
area. Her brother David is a Professor of Sociology at McMaster University in Hamilton and her sister Susan is a
teacher at Centre Hastings Secondary School. Janet enjoys reading, is an active member of the Napanee Rotary Club,
serving as President for the Rotary Year 2005-2006, and enjoys assisting her husband, David, on their dairy farm.
Janet and David have two lovely daughters, Ella and Lila.
