Educational Background:
Judy graduated and achieved the Dean's List from Loyalist College in Belleville in
1984. Judy also completed Management Courses at Algonquin College. Judy is a life
insurance broker and is a registered representative of Independent Planning Group
Inc.. She is currently studying courses for the Certified Financial Planners
designation. Judy is licensed to broker mutual funds, GIC's, Life Insurance and
Disability Insurance.
Career:
Judy has a broad base of experience in Canadian industry. This includes 15 years in the Electronics Industry as an Electronics Technician. This experience helped Judy develop tremendous attention to detail as well as management skills. Judy also worked in Advertising at the Intelligencer in Belleville for approximately 5 years. This work was invaluable in terms of developing excellent customer relations. Judy now works predominately with working and retired individuals and couples. In addition, Judy really enjoys working with young people and helping them make progress. Judy currently services approximately 267 clients with assets of eight million dollars under management.
Community Involvement:
Judy has been involved with the Oak Hills Golf Club, not only as a general member, but also as Women's Convener. Judy has been a member with Women's Sales and Advertising of Belleville for over 15 years. Judy serves as a Director for the Stirling Festival Theatre.
Personal Note:
Judy has developed her interest in precious metals and gemstones by her courses through Mappins Jewellers. Judy has lived on her hobby farm of 30 acres near Stirling for about 25 years. In addition, Judy has taken numerous courses in photography. Judy is currently working on her first book, "Financial Strategies For Women".
