Educational Background:
Kyle was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. As a graduate of Frontenac Secondary School, Kyle entered St. Lawrence College - Business Administration Program in 1986.
Kyle believes in the philosophy of life long learning and is studying to complete his Certified Financial Planner designation. Kyle was one of the first people in Kingston to complete the certification program for the designation of a Certified Divorce Specialist, a college program. This course was created due to an increased need for professional planning advice and services for couples going through the difficult and complicated process of divorce. Many professionals, such as attorneys, lack the financial expertise to help an individual forecast the long-term effects of dividing property, integrating tax issues, pension issues, earning capabilities, inflation, investment earnings and other issues pertaining to their settlements. A Certified Divorce Specialist would helpful in projecting these outcomes to assist clients and their lawyers in effectively reaching financially fair settlements in a timely fashion. Prior to 2002, this designation was only available in the United States and Kyle is pleased to have been one of the first specialists in this area.
Career:
With 15 years experience in the financial planning industry, Kyle joined his current office in the summer of 2000. He brings to IPG Downtown Kingston a strong background in financial planning, estate planning and retirement planning.
Personal Background Information:
Kyle resides on the outskirts of Newburgh, Ontario west of Kingston. He has two daughters; Alexis and Kali. He is a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Township of Stone Mills, Newburgh Station.
